This is the first thing everyone asks — and the skepticism makes sense. Most phone holders fall, rattle, or shift the moment you load the bar.
MagNode uses industrial-grade N54 neodymium magnets — the strongest commercially available rare-earth magnet. Customers have filmed deadlifts over 200kg, cable machine sets, and box jumps with zero movement.

MagNode attaches to any ferromagnetic metal surface — squat racks, cable machines, dumbbell stands, barbell sleeves, Smith machines, pull-up rigs, and most commercial gym equipment.
It does not attach to aluminum, plastic, rubber, or wood. If you're unsure, hold a fridge magnet to the surface — if it sticks, MagNode sticks.

Yes. The spring-loaded grip accommodates phones from 2.2" to 3.5" wide — that covers every iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, and Google Pixel model with or without most standard cases.
Extremely thick battery cases (over 12mm) may reduce grip pressure slightly but will still hold securely. We've tested with OtterBox Defender, Spigen Tough Armor, and UAG Monarch cases. All compatible.

Slide your phone into the spring grip, rotate the 360° ball joint to your angle, and press record. Total setup time from pocket to recording: under 10 seconds.
To remove: pull straight back. The magnet releases cleanly without leaving marks or residue.
Full 360° rotation on a friction ball joint. Portrait, landscape, low angle, overhead — rotate to any position and the joint holds it under vibration and impact.
The friction is calibrated to be firm enough to hold under heavy-load movement, but loose enough to adjust with one hand mid-session. No tools needed to tighten or loosen.
The contact surface of MagNode is lined with a soft rubberized pad that prevents metal-on-metal contact. No scratching, no scuffing, no marks left on the rack.
We've tested on powder-coated, chrome, and raw steel surfaces. Zero damage in all cases. Gym owners and commercial facilities have approved MagNode for use in their facilities.
MagNode works on any ferromagnetic metal surface. If your gym uses aluminum or non-magnetic equipment, the included adhesive metal plate (in the box) can be attached to any flat surface — giving MagNode a mounting point anywhere.
The adhesive plate is removable and repositionable. Works on mirrors, walls, benches, and equipment frames.
